Cognitive Transport Layer - Cognitive TCP
CogTCP is a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) enhanced with a cognitive mechanism able to dynamically adapt the size of the congestion window, i.e. TCP sending rate, to maintain optimal transfer performance during runtime. This mechanism is built up on the principles of the cognitive protocols.
