About me

Helder Oliveira is an adjunct professor at the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences (ICEN) at UFPA. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing at the State University of Campinas (2018). Helder also did a post-doctoral internship in Computer Science at the Institute of Computing at the State University of Campinas (2019). Helder has been researching the area of ​​computer networks, mainly in the field of ​​optical networks. Helder has participated in the development of national projects. About research, Helder was a finalist in the competition for the best master's Thesis in Computer Science from the Brazilian Computer Society, 2015. Helder won the prize for the best Thesis at the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems, 2019, and the second-best thesis award at the CLEI Latin American Doctoral Thesis Contest, 2019. Also, Helder is the author of more than twenty-five articles published in national and international conferences and periodicals of great reputation. His main topics of interest include the internet of things, computer networks, protection, fault tolerance, and data analysis.
